Old Age - Don’t take it lying down

In the last 20 years there has been a shift from body building to training for fitness and health. Doctors know that those who can get out a chair, off the floor, stand on one foot, tie their shoes and put on pants without assistance live longer than those who can’t. As people age, they often accept lack of function as a result of aging. Doing so is a mistake! You can maintain and restore function in the gym; however, relying solely on machines and following the same boring routine is not the answer.

There is no one size fits all when it comes to functional fitness training which is why I do a complete assessment of each client before we begin working together. I’ll ask about your goals and identify your specific needs whether it is training to improve strength, flexibility, stability or all three. Got a bad knee? I’ll work to strengthen it so that you don’t reinjure it during training. Recovering from surgery? I’ll start where you are. Put on some extra weight during COVID? I’ll take that into consideration when I design your program.

Grab life by the ring - restore function, flexibility and fitness with me. I am available six days a week for one-on-one or group fitness training. Call or text me at 831.236.6199 to get started.
