Here is a news flash, you don’t need heavy equipment to get and stay fit! There is a misperception that working out with gym equipment is superior to other methods of fitness training. With the right trainer you don’t need bulky gym machines. You don’t even need to be in a gym. During COVID my clients continue to get amazing results training in my outdoor “gym” using bands, kettle bells, Bosu balls and handheld weights.
Gym fans often rely on equipment to teach them correct technique mistakenly believing this is the best way to learn. In fact, it can be more effective to develop proper technique without relying on machinery. Your goal is to build body awareness so you can recognize correct form and reproduce it at will.
